Carnival Party for Kids

Sharing is caring!

I can’t believe it’s August already. As much as I love fall with apple picking and all the other fun activities, I’m sad to see summer leave. Let’s take advantage of these last beautiful and warm summer days and celebrate with a carnival party! It’s a great theme for a birthday party for kids or a back to school party.

Here we have plenty of easy carnival party invitations, decorations, activities, recipes, party favors and gifts and most of them come with tutorials.

CARNIVAL PARTY INVITATION

The carnival party invitations created by Maija are so cheerful! As fancy as they look, they’re easy to make: just print out the invitations, cut and sew on colorful fabric scraps. Ok, you need to have a sewing machine for this but I imagine that gluing the fabric would also work.

CARNIVAL PARTY FOOD

Carnival cupcakes decorated with confetti sprinkles and cherries! Looking so delicious that I’m sure you need to make more than just one tray.

You can’t have a carnival party for kids without clowns! Kids can also help with painting and decorating the hats (aka cones) and I’m sure that some of the frosting will find a way to go directly to their mouths but this is the best part of helping mom in the kitchen.  (Recipe provided by Amee’s Savory Dish).

CARNIVAL PARTY DECORATIONS

Carnival Party for Kids

You can make a few pinwheels to decorate or for  kids to play with. (Find the template and tutorial at Style Me Pretty. )

CARNIVAL PARTY ACTIVITIES

A photo booth is not difficult to put together (tutorial provided by Bird’s Party) and offers a great way to entertain kids and create beautiful memories from an unforgettable carnival party.

Mask making would be a fun activity for kids, though younger kids need adult supervision (it involves handling hot glue or a staples). Tutorial provided by Whip Up.
