A Handful of Friends (Rock People)

Sharing is caring!

This past Saturday was a wet, gloomy day. We went for a puddle hunt in the neighborhood but rain chased us back pretty quickly. We spent the rest of the day inside, drawing haunted houses ( we already dream of Halloween), cutting out masks from paper plates and paper bags and playing. While my hubby was keeping the boys busy playing doctor I started working on these rock people.

Collecting rocks used to be my kids’ hobby but I won’t say no anymore when it comes to joining them in their quest. My target: big flat rocks. I got a few bags of polished rocks from the dollar store but I was  disappointed not to find too many big rocks in there. Most of them are quite small and have irregular shapes.
