If you are a DIY person and like to make seasonal decorations, here is a simple Halloween decoration idea that you will love: a creepy eyeball plant. Add a personal touch to your home for the holidays, without breaking the bank.
Halloween is the perfect time to get creative and the creepy eyeball plant is super easy to make and requires only a few craft supplies.
If you have kids and don’t want to add scary decorations, or you just prefer a fun Halloween decor idea, the eyeball plant is kid-friendly.
You can ask your kids to create their own eyeballs. Just hand them a few ping pong balls and markers. Or you can have them paint the flower pot.
I found some of the craft supplies at the dollar store, got the eyeballs online and used a wooden flower pot I already had.

How to make a creepy eyeball plant decoration
Start by cutting the green mesh tube in pieces of different length.
Use the hot glue gun to glue a ping pong ball at one end of each mesh piece.
Prepare the pot by shaping the floral foam to fit inside your pot. If you don’t have foam, you can use air-dry clay.
I covered the pot with moss but this step is optional. You can replace the moss with green construction paper or crumbled green tissue paper.
Stick a few bamboo skewers into the floral foam. Before doing so, cut out some of the sticks so they have different length.
Slide the mesh tube onto the sticks.
Push the long mesh pieces down the sticks and glue them in place with hot glue.
Add plastic spiders along the stems.
