After watching Despicable Me 3 the second time, the story grew on me. The creative wheels started turning and I wanted to make a new Minion craft. I created Minions in jail painted rocks a while back but this time I wanted to try something very easy. Easy enough for my preschoolers to craft along. This is how I came up with the idea of the paper plate Minions in jail craft.

Supplies:
- paper plate
- yellow paint
- paint brush
- construction paper : (black and white)
- scissors
- glue
- black marker
- 2 black buttons
- 2 big googly eyes
Step 1: Paint half of the paper plate yellow. While waiting for the paint to dry, cut out several strips of black paper.
Step 2: Glue the black strips at the bottom of the paper plate to resemble the pattern of a jail uniform. Trim the excess black paper. Cut straps for the overall and glue them onto the plate. Add one black button to the bottom of each strap.
Step 3: Cut a small pocket out of white paper, write a 3-digit number on it and glue on top of the overalls.
Step 4: Glue on the googly eyes and draw a mouth with a black marker.
