  • Abraham Lincoln was the 16th President of the United States of America.
  • He is the first out of the four US presidents who were assassinated.
  • Lincoln lost five elections before becoming president.
  • He was a self-taught lawyer and received only about one year of formal schooling
  • Lincoln was the tallest American president

How to make the President’s Day craft

The Lincoln template comes with two versions:

  • Option 1: – print directly on colored paper.
  • Option 2: – trace patterns on colored paper.

This way you can easily craft with just one or two kids as well as with a classroom full of students.

Step by step inctructions

Start by gluing the white shirt at the top of the body.

beard

Glue the beard at the bottom of the head.

hat

Add the hat onto the head so no space is left between the hat and beard.

eyes

Glue the eyes under the hat.

Glue the head and body together.

bow tie

Add the bow tie onto the shirt.

Use a black marker to draw a smile.
