Making angel crafts is a nice way to celebrate Christmas with kids. Our paper angels leave a lot of room to creativity and are easy to make. We didn’t want the boys to miss out on the fun of crafting angels for Christmas. So we created a boy angel version for them.
We gave our angels a Christmassy look by combining green and red patterned paper for their robes. But you can go for the traditional look and leave them white and have the robe band a light color like yellow or gray. Or you can chose light blue for the boy angel robe and light pink for the girl angel.
Angels craft variations:
- Chose a skin tone to match the skin tone of your kid
- Add paper snowflakes at the bottom of the angel’s robe
- Have your child write down his/her name at the bottom of the angel’s robe
Our paper angels craft comes with a simple template. It is perfect for kids as little as preschoolers and kindergartners who can work on their fine motor skills while scissors cutting all the patterns and gluing them together.

How to make paper angels
The angel template comes with two versions:
1. option 1 – print the template, cut out the patterns and trace them on appropriate colored paper
2. option 2 – print the pattern directly on colored paper and cut them out.
This way you can easily craft with just one or two kids as well as with a classroom full of students.
