A super easy paper cup sheep craft for preschoolers to make for Easter or any spring day.
If you’re either looking for a fun farm animal craft or a simple spring idea for your preschooler or older kid, this sheep is really cute and you’ll make it in no time.
It requires no painting – yay for a mess free craft!
Kids will have to do some scissors cutting and gluing – both activities are perfect for them to work on their fine motor skills.
There are no many details to work on for this craft and also not many supplies needed, which is always appreciated by parents as well as teachers.
Nevertheless, I have included a template for the sheep’s head, in case kids don’t want to try their hand at drawing. The template has several head patterns so you can either use it several times and make a hole sheep flock or with several kids.
If you’re making this craft as part of a farm animal series, make sure to also check out also our paper cow craft.
Material substitutes:
- In case you don’t have a black paper cup, you can use a white paper cup or even a paper roll and paint it black
- Cotton balls can be replaced by pom poms
- You can draw the eyes with a black marker
