Paper Roll Rainbow Butterfly Craft for Kids

Sharing is caring!

Are you looking for a St. Patrick’s Day or spring craft? This paper roll rainbow butterfly is perfect for both.

It was leftover night and this meant one hour that I didn’t have to spend in the kitchen. Yay! I took out my big box of paint and this got my kids’ attention. They had been busy shaping clay into animals but now there were willing to take a break and give me a helping hand. So I used their hand, literally.

We made rainbow handprints and turned those into wings for a beautiful butterfly. The boys even got a name for him: The King.

My youngest wanted to paint some more so I handed him a couple of paper rolls.  This is how we ended up with two more rainbow butterflies.
