Seahorse craft

Sharing is caring!

A seahorse craft is a great summer craft for the end of the school year or an ocean / sea life unit study. If you’re looking for under the sea and ocean animal ideas or just an easy craft to make with preschoolers, kindergartners and older kids, this seahorse fits the bill.

Seahorse craft

I wanted to have the seahorse showing up in its natural habitat, so I created it swimming among the waves and seaweeds at the bottom of the ocean.

We have created this paper plate ocean craft a while back and it includes four ocean animals: whale, seahorse, fish and star fish. This summer I plan on making individual crafts for several sea animals: jellyfish, whale and more.

How to make a seahorse craft

The seahorse template comes with two versions:

1. home template – cut out the patterns and trace them on corresponding colored paper.

2. classroom template – print the pattern directly on colored paper and cut them out.

This way you can easily craft with just one or two kids as well as with a classroom full of students.
