A simple Thanksgiving headband craft for kids to make and celebrate the season.
We love easy crafts for kids and many of them come with printable templates, to make parents and educators’ lives simple and the kids’ crafting experience an enjoyable one. So, here we are with yet another paper hat, this time created especially for Thanksgiving.
If you are a daycare or preschool teacher, you may want to make this paper crown in the classroom, on the weeks leading to Thanksgiving and sending kids home with their adorable hats. You can pre-cup the template and have the kids just do the coloring.
Kindergartners can follow all the steps: color, cut and tape together. They will be proud to show their adults the cute headbands they made at school.
Of course, you can make this Thanksgiving headband also at home, with your kids.
More Thanksgiving crafts for kids:
If you are hosting the Thanksgiving dinner and have family coming over, you may want to print a paper hat for each kid and have them gather up at a coloring table to create their hats. They can use colored pencils or crayons.
The headband printable features a few seasonal elements: pumpkins, fall leaves, a basket filled with corn and in the middle a turkey, of course.
The words Happy Thanksgiving read above the turkey.
