I took out my homemade play dough recipe one morning so the kids could play with their play dough snowman kit. While I was making the play dough they asked me to add some color and I did. One thing led to another and our winter activity turned into a Valentine’s activity. The boys made play dough hearts and decorated them with beads.

This proved to be such a fun craft for my preschoolers that I thought of turning it into play dough Valentines. You can’t go wrong with play dough, beads and cookie cutters, right? They are perfect for a classroom Valentine’s party especially if you’re looking for non-candy treat ideas.
