This avocado headband is a great addition to any Cinco de Mayo or Mexican Independence Day celebration. Make the paper hat with your kids for a Mexican Fiesta party or use it as part of a lesson during Hispanic Heritage Month in September.
The adorable paper crown features a fun avocado design that kids can color using colored pencils or markers.
The Mexican craft printable template comes with three options: a male avocado wearing a sombrero, a female avocado with flowers in its hair, and the two of them together.
If you need a fast accessory for a Mexican Fiesta, you can print out the pre colored paper hats, cut out and assemble them in less than 10 minutes.
More Cinco de Mayo crafts for kids:
If you plan on creating these paper hats at daycare, preschool or in the classroom, in case you are a teacher, you want to use the black and white version of the paper hats. Preschoolers and older kids will color their avocados.
This easy Mexican craft can be incorporated into lessons on Hispanic heritage month or during international Education Week.
In case you’re looking for Latin American crafts, you can use this adorable avocado headband at school or if you homeschool your kids.
