One of our neighbors had a Charlie Brown and Snoopy Halloween inflatable in his front yard and each time we were driving by his house, we had to slow down for a better view. My boys were introduced to the two characters this past summer thanks to the Peanuts movie. They loved the movie and watched it several times by now. So, when I suggested making Charlie Brown Christmas ornaments, the idea was received with great excitement.
Getting boys to craft can be quite a challenge. It must be something that intrigues their interest and requires minimum time spent sitting down at the table as well as easy steps to follow. Boys can spend hours building the most complex lego structures or train tracks but they have very limited patience when it comes to crafting. I am happy to say that these Christmas ornaments are 90% boy made. (I did the cutting for the black zig zag pattern)
