The Easter Bunny
Often represented as a rabbit in a fancy outfit, the Easter bunny comes bearing gifts.
It holds a basket filled with eggs, candy, and small toys.
Kids are excited to meet with the Easter bunny and parents love taking pictures and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Why Bunny Is the Symbol of Easter?
There are several theories explaining why the bunny became a symbol of Easter celebrations.
In medieval times, people would tell stories of hares that kept their purity, even while having babies, linking them to the Virgin Mary.
German immigrants , in the 1700s, brought with them to America the legend of “Osterhase,” a hare that laid colored eggs.
Children crafted nests for this creature, hoping to find its eggs as Easter morning arrived.
Over time, the hare transformed into the Easter bunny and becoming a beloved symbol of an entire season of renewal and joy.
