Adorable fingerprint reindeer cards kids can easily make for parents, grandparents, neighbors or teachers.

Fingerprint reindeer cards for kids

If you’re looking for a simple handmade Christmas card for kids, I have just the perfect idea for you today. The cute reindeer on our cards only needs one thing: a red nose. Yes, it’s a Rudolph Christmas card, because he is the most famous reindeer of all.

Use these cards in the classroom if you are a teacher. It requires no prep work and kids can easily add the fingerprints on their own. They can also write their name (and a short message – if they are older) on the back and done! In no time, you have an adorable card to make for parents for the holidays.

If you plan on making the cards at home, you can do so with kids of all ages. A good DIY Christmas card for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and so on – you got the idea. Yes, the baby and toddler will need help but older kids can manage it on their own.

Easy Fingerprint reindeer Christmas cards

I created these reindeer cards for my boys’ teachers. Each of them have to go to school with nine cards. That’s a lot of cards.

So I try to come up with really easy handmade Christmas cards, like this reindeer card or this handprint Grinch card.

The fingerprint reindeer card template comes with a lot of options. The reindeer has two smiles.

Both a colored and a black and white card, that kids can color before adding the red nose, are available.

The colored card has three designs with slightly different scarf colors or background.

Christmas cards for babies and toddlers

Choose between the cards with “Merry Christmas” or “Happy Holidays”.

Or maybe you prefer “Feliz Navidad”.

If you want to add your own words, there is a card with no words that you customize yourself.

I initially made the cards 5 in x7 in but after I printed them, I realized I should also include a smaller size. So a 4 in x 6 in is now available, too. This way, two cards can fit on one page and you can save paper.

You may want to pair the card making with watching the show “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer“. This is the longest continuously running Christmas TV special and you can watch it on NBC. (for our American readers)
