What is Lent?
Lent is a special time for people who follow Jesus. It lasts about 40 days and is a time for thinking about being kind and making good choices, just like Jesus did.
People often give up something they like or do extra kind things to help others during Lent. It’s kind of like a countdown to Easter, which is when people celebrate that Jesus came back to life.
