Painted Stone Rainbow

Sharing is caring!

When I first started painting rocks, I used the few river rocks collected from our trip to the Smokey Mountains.  Unfortunately, I ran out of them pretty quickly. The only thing to do was to either reuse my original rocks or get some more. I went for the latter. I stacked up on river rocks used for decorating potted plants. You can’t imagine my disappointment when I opened those bags to discover they were filled mainly with small and medium size stones. I wanted big stones.

For the longest time I had no idea what to do with the rest of the stones. This until a few days ago when I came up with the idea of a painted stone rainbow.
