Looking for a spring craft for kids? You must give this paper bowl mushroom craft a try! It’s too cute!
We started expanding our crafts to new materials and techniques this year.
We’ve already included handprints, clay pots and coffee filters.
It’s time now for two of the most versatile craft materials: paper bowls and paper plates.

We’ve been blessed with fantastic couple of days of warm weather.
The snow melted away so we switched from snow boots to rain boots and went outside on adventures every single day.
Although there is a big winter storm coming up tomorrow (strange weather, I must say), today it still feels like spring.
So let’s get busy with a fun spring craft.
RELATED: Check out this snail on mushroom craft, as well.

This mushroom craft is very easy to put together and it only requires a few supplies.
I love that it uses materials from the recycling bin because recycled crafts (like these paper roll pandas or this cardboard road) are simply the best.
Kids can turn the mushroom into mushroom houses, by drawing windows and a door on each paper roll.
To make mushrooms of different sizes, you can cut paper towel rolls or combine toilet paper rolls with towel paper rolls.
