How to make a paper plate pond craft
Start by painting a paper plate. Use one or two different blue shades for the middle and green for the rim.
While you wait for the paper plate to get dried, download the free printable template. (enter email at the end of the article to receive the template). Print it on green paper and cut out lily pads and frogs.
Let’s make some lilies from tissue paper. Use one or more colors.
Start by cutting a square from the first color and fold it in half. Fold in half one more time.
Then fold in half again, diagonally, this time. And one more diagonal fold.
Cut the edge into a petal shape and unfold the tissue paper.
Cut out a smaller square of the same or different color tissue paper and repeat to create another flower.
Make two to four flowers per lily and glue them onto the lily pads, that you have already glued on the paper plates.
Add googly eyes to the frog, fold the bottom strip and glue the frog onto the paper plate.
