This paper roll turkey craft is simple and fun. It involves a bit of painting and will help little kids practice their scissors cutting skills. It is a craft that uses things from your recycling bin and a handful of other materials (Scrap felt and colorful paper left from other projects will work just fine).

Easy Paper Roll Turkey Craft for Kids
Materials: paper roll, brown paint, scrapbook paper, red and orange felt or foam sheet, googly eyes with self adhesive, glue
Step 1: Paint the paper roll brown
Step 2: Use a big lid, plate or anything else that is round to trace half a circle. I used 3 scrapbook paper sheets: yellow, orange and red but you can stick to just 2 colors or even one. Simple is great.
Step 3: Cut out the half circles. If you’re using more than one paper sheet, make sure to cut different sizes.
Step 4: Add the googly eyes and cut out a beak and the red thing hanging off the turkey’s beak from felt and glue them to the paper roll
Step 5: Glue the half circles together, one on top of the other, like a sandwich. Glue to paper sandwich at the back of the turkey
