Losing that first tooth is such a big event in a kid’s life. Celebrate the loss of the first tooth or any other tooth with an easy and cute tooth fairy craft for kids.
There are many things to consider when your kid loses his or her first tooth. Things that will start the tooth fairy tradition in your family. How much money will the tooth fairy leave? Does she leave more for the first tooth? Does she leave a note as well?
There was one thing I knew for sure I would do even before my oldest lost his first tooth. I didn’t want to make the tooth/money exchange under the pillow. So I got a little mailbox that we leave on the hallway by my son’s door. I didn’t want to take the risk and wake up my kids at night when I would try to find the tooth under the pillow and spoil the whole tooth fairy magic. The mailbox works great for us.
Our tooth fairy leaves a note, written in golden marker, and a bit of glitter, together with the money gift.
Use this tooth fairy craft as part of your tooth fairy family tradition or to celebrate National Tooth Fairy Day. Funny enough, there are in fact two National Tooth Fairy Days: February 28 and August 22. And did you know that February is the Dental Health Month? So many reasons to make a tooth craft, a tooth fairy craft or to play a happy tooth, sad tooth sorting game.
