Valentine’s Day Heart Frog Craft

Sharing is caring!

Frogs make popular spring crafts but we put a spin to our little green creature and turned it into a Valentine’s Day heart frog craft. This cute frog of ours holds a big red heart between its four legs.

We started a heart animal series for Valentine’s Day with this heart bear, heart bunny and heart giraffe. The heart frog is a nice addition to the series.

The craft comes with an easy template to use in the classroom, in case you are a teacher, as well as a home version but you can also create your own template if you craft at home with your kids.

You can add the kids’ handprints instead of the frog’s legs for a more personal touch. Or have your child write a sweet short message on the heart and give the craft as a Valentine to grandma or another special person.

HOW TO MAKE A HEART frog CRAFT

The heart frog template comes with two versions:

1. home template – print the template, cut out the patterns and trace them on appropriate paper.

2. classroom template – print the pattern directly on colored paper and cut them out.

This way you can easily craft with just one or two kids as well as with a classroom full of students.
