We used large bubble wrap but the regular one will work, too. And if you don’t have bubble wrap in the house, no worries, you can still beautiful pineapples with fingerprints.

If you do have bubble wrap, you will discover that this easy pineapple art project is great for kids as young as preschoolers and fun for older kids, too.

Supplies:

  • free pineapple template – find it at the end of th post
  • large bubble wrap
  • white paper
  • green paper
  • paint
  • paintbrush
  • scissors
  • glue

How to make a bubble wrap pineapple craft

Step 1: Cut out a bubble wrap sheet and cover it with paint. You can use any color you like, from yellow to blue and red. What about gold paint? Or glitter paint? Go crazy and have fun!

Once you’re done with the painting, place one a white paper sheet on top of the bubble wrap and press it down firmly.

Peel the sheet off and let it dry.

Step 2: Spread another layer of the same paint on the bubble wrap and repeat with a second white paper sheet.

Step 3: Put the two paper sheets back to back and use the free template (find it at the end of the post) to cut out the pineapple shape. Cut the leaves from green paper.

Step 4: Glue the leaves to the back of one pineapple shape and then glue the two pineapples together, back to back.

Instructions
