Bunnies are among our favorite spring crafts to make with kids. Now that snow is almost gone, here in Minnesota, I’m sure we’ll see more bunnies hopping in the grass. Little ones will also start to show up and they are absolutely adorable. Our bunny in the grass craft is to celebrate this great time of the year when not only bunnies but also kids and adults are happy to see nature coming back to life.
We have created many bunnies, throughout the years, from our paper plate bunny made by my preschooler at the time to the bunny with carrot made not too long ago. For more ideas, check out this awesome collection of 48 bunny crafts.

How to make the Bunny in the grass craft
The Bunny in the grass template comes with two versions:
1. home template – print the template, cut out the patterns and trace them on corresponding paper.
2. classroom template – print the pattern directly on colored paper and cut them out.
This way you can easily craft with just one or two kids as well as with a classroom full of students.
Step by step instructions for home crafting
Print the home template on white construction paper or card stock paper. Cut out the body, head, ears, feet and eyes and use as is. Cut out the nose pattern and trace it on pink paper, the bow tie on blue paper and the ear detail on yellow paper.

Glue the ears to the small circle (the head).
Glue the head onto the orange card stock paper, above the body.
Add the eyes.
Glue the nose in the middle of the face.
Glue the bow tie between the head and body.
