If you’re looking for a decorate a stocking family activity to do around the holidays or a way to prepare a classroom for Christmas and give it a magical and festive look, this Christmas stocking craft will do the job.
We printed out Christmas stocking craft on colored paper and mixed it up with pattern paper but you can print it on white paper and have kids decorate it. Use glitter and pom poms or just color the paper stockings.
Also, kids can write their name onto the top piece.
If you do this in your classroom as part of the winter classroom party or any other winter day, you can hang the stockings by the cubbies. They will look so pretty!

How to make the paper stocking
The stocking craft template comes with two versions:
1. home template – cut out the patterns and trace them on corresponding colored paper.
2. classroom template – print the pattern directly on colored paper and cut them out.
This way you can easily craft with just one or two kids as well as with a classroom full of students.
Step by step instructions
Start by gluing the stocking top on top of the stocking.
Glue the stocking toe onto the stocking.
Glue the stocking heel onto the stocking.
Add the mistletoe leaves onto the stocking top.
Glue the mistletoe berries on top of the leaves.
