This elf craft is our last addition to our easy paper Christmas craft collection, together with the reindeer, gingerbread man, Santa and the snowman. The craft comes with a simple template that we created with preschoolers and kindergartners in mind. The patterns are big enough for little hands to cut out.
It is such a fun craft to use at home with your kids or in the classroom with your students. Imagine how the hallway would look decorated with the characters from our Christmas series.
Feel free to use any color for the face, from white and beige to brown. We made ours with two different colors.

Elf craft
Supplies:
- Elf template
- Cardstock paper: white, black, red, beige, green and yellow
- Black marker
- Scissors
- Glue
I love crafting with cardstock paper because it’s a sturdy material but you can replace it with construction paper.
HOW TO MAKE The ELf CRAFT
The elf template comes with two versions:
1. home template – print the template, cut out the patterns and trace them on appropriate colored paper
2. classroom template – print the pattern directly on colored paper and cut them out.
This way you can easily craft with just one or two kids as well as with a classroom full of students.
