Paper crafts are not only easy (like the rest of our crafts for kids) but also a great opportunity for preschoolers and kindergartners to practice their scissors cutting skills.

Nevertheless, this craft isn’t only for them, it’s for kids of all ages. Because who can resist the green furry monster with his big smile and heart?

We watched the original Grinch movie last week for the first time. My kindergartner was afraid of the Grinch at the beginning. He was familiar with the song so knew to expect a mean character. But in the end he told me how much he loved the story.

Next day when the boys got home from school, I was waiting for them with a Grinch craft idea and template. We spent the afternoon making this craft and we all loved it.

Grinch the Movie

I enjoy reading behind the scenes and there are some cool fun facts about the “How Grinch stole Christmas” movie.

Like putting on the entire costume for the first time took Jim Carey eight hours and a half.

So a professional, who was specialized in training CIA agents to endure torture, was hired to teach Carey distraction tactics.

What mostly helped the actor go through the movie was listening to the Bee Gees.
