MY MOM ROCKS! is a fun Mother’s Day kid – parent craft that makes a lovely keepsake. The best part? It is ready in two easy steps. While the child colors the My Mom Rocks coloring page, the parent can take over the gluing of rocks onto a photo frame. That is all.

Supplies:

Step 1: Print out the free coloring page and let your child color it.

Step 2: Glue rocks onto the edge of the photo frame. I got both the frame and the polished rocks from a dollar store. Considering that parts of the frame will still be seen through the rocks, I wanted a black frame. It still had a silver line but I used a black marker to cover it all up.

Before starting to glue the rocks, I would recommend laying them first on the frame. This way you can make sure they fit properly. Once you found the perfect combo of rocks, just use a hot glue gun to glue them to the frame.

Step 3: Cut the coloring page to fit the frame and slid it inside.
