A simple witch shape craft that will help preschoolers and kindergartners learn or review shapes. Use the template I have created for this Halloween craft or make your own.
If you decide to create your own template you can go for a different shape for the head, like a square or hexagon. The hair can be a trapezoid instead of two triangles.
Math crafts like this one can be combined with a shape graph or a writing activity.
If crafting with young kids, ask them to group the shapes by size or color.
Shape crafts are a great way of pairing crafting with math in a fun way. We have a rather impressive collection of shape crafts to cover all seasons and many holidays.
