This All About Me paper hat is perfect for the first day of school. Preschoolers, kindergartners and older students will be really engaged in this activity and they will enjoy sharing it with their classmates.
The headband is a perfect addition to the All About Me activities at the beginning of the school year. A great activity students can show off to others at school and home.
More back to school activities:
Last year we created this All About Me craft that comes with a boy and girl version. This year we’re focusing on making coloring crowns so here we are with a headband adaptation of that craft.
It is actually a great combo between a craft, coloring crown and writing activity.
Students will work on their fine motor skills while coloring the paper hat and cutting it out.
They will also have to write a few things about themselves. Some, like the name and age, will be very easy while others will require introspective thinking.
Included on the headband:
- My name is _______
- I am _______ years old
- Favorite color
- Favorite foods
- I am good at ________
- My superpower is _______
This All about me hat is a fun way to make kids think about some of their favorite things and their qualities. It’s also a good opportunity to talk about what makes everyone unique and differences and similarities between themselves and their classmates.
