If you’re looking for a fun craft to teach kids about apples or just an easy way to keep little ones entertained this fall, you will love this apple core craft. It comes with a simple template and instructions and its patterns are big enough for little hands to cut out. I also added a cute little worm on the side of the apple. Fun! And yes, the little worm sticks its toungue out.
We love apple crafts and have used many materials to create apples, from paper plates to yarn. But lately I enjoy working more with paper so our apple core craft is made only with paper. You will only need scissors and glue, besides paper.
It’s a great craft to make at home or for teachers to use in the classroom with preschoolers, kindergartners and older kids as a back-to-school craft or for an apple themed study unit. You can talk about different apple colors, count seeds or learn about apple parts.

How to make an apple core craft
The apple core template comes with two versions:
1. option 1 – print the pattern directly on colored paper and cut them out.
2. option 2 – cut out the patterns and trace them on corresponding colored paper.
This way you can easily craft with just one or two kids as well as with a classroom full of students.
