This paper roll apple core craft is a simple paint and glue craft and a great activity for kids to welcome the upcoming fall season. It’s also a nice opportunity to look at the inside of an apple and talk about the leaves, skin, stem, seeds, and core of an apple with your little ones.
We have created quite a few apple crafts throughout the years, from easy pine cone apples to a paper plate and yarn apple basket for preschoolers and older kids. This apple core idea is one of our readers’ favorite. It may be because it’s so simple to make or because it looks great. Or maybe a combination of the two.
Paper core craft variations:
- Start with white paper rolls and skip the painting step
- Replace the sticks with craft sticks for the apple stem
- If you don’t have red cupcake liners at hand, use white ones and have the kids paint them red
What is your favorite season? Mine is fall. The hay rides, apple picking, corn mazes, pumpkin pies. And then, there is also Halloween and Thanksgiving! So many good reasons to look forward to fall.
Now let’s grab our supplies and get started, shall we?
