While we made this doctor card as a Mother’s Day card, you can also use it as a doctor thank you card to show gratitude to healthcare professionals. Or if dad is a heath worker, make one for him for Father’s Day.
We started a series of Mother’s Day cards for jobs and hobbies moms have or activities they like to do. We have already created a baker mom card and a card for moms who like to sew. With health workers being on the frontlines of responding to this crisis we’re currently going through, I thought it would be a good idea to create also a doctor mom card.
Our collection of Mother’s Day crafts includes several handprint and flowers crafts, if you would like to make one with your kids. From these gorgeous handprint flowers to this easy 3D flower craft.

HOW TO MAKE A doctor CARD
The Doctor Card template comes with two versions:
1. home template – print the template, cut out the patterns and trace them on corresponding paper.
2. classroom template – print the pattern directly on colored paper and cut them out.
This way you can easily craft with just one or two kids as well as with a classroom full of students.
STEP BY STEP DIRECTIONS FOR HOME CRAFTING
Print out the home template on white paper. Use the coat, stethoscope, button, pocket and red cross symbol as is. Use the heart shape as a pattern.
Fold a 12”x12” light blue cardstock paper in half and trace the heart, making sure to align the left side of the heart with the fold.
Glue the white coat onto the heart, making sure to align them together.
Glue two stethoscope parts onto the heart, one on each side.
Glue the rest of the accessories: red cross symbol, button and pocket.
Use the black marker to write MOM in the middle of the pocket and a sweet little message inside the card.
