Earth Day Headbands

Sharing is caring!

Earth Day is here! And what better way to celebrate the day than with a fun craft that is easy to make and (best of all!) wearable? These Earth Day headbands are a great way to let kids showcase their love of the planet while creating something special they can wear on Earth Day.

We’ve designed these Earth Day coloring crowns with several different options–4 in all. All of the designs are centered around one wonderful theme: the love of the planet Earth! You can let kids choose which option they’d like to make, or pick which templates you’d like to use in class or at home.

These paper hats are perfect for younger kids because the large designs are easier for smaller hands to color. This is a great “busy” activity that is ideal for a classroom or at home.

You can even combine this craft with other Earth Day lessons to make a more well-rounded Earth Day activity!

To continue the theme of loving the Earth, you might even want to share some interesting Earth facts for kids along with this headband craft activity.

If you’re looking for cool Earth facts that will help kids learn reasons to love the Earth, consider these:

  • The Earth is mostly made up of water
  • The Earth is located in the “Milky Way” galaxy
  • There are more than 8 million animal species on Earth
