This happy Earth spinner craft is a fun way for kids to celebrate Earth Day creatively.
Earth Day is here, and that means one thing: Earth Day activities! Earth Day craft activities are ideal for classrooms or at-home learning.
Our “I can make the Earth happy” spinner craft is a unique craft that combines coloring and writing for a creative craft kids will love.
To make this craft, kids will need to come up with 4 ways that they can make the Earth happy and write them down on each of the 4 sections in the “answer” circle. Then, they’ll finish the craft with a spinner that goes through the top cover circle.
When they want to play with their craft, they’ll spin and it will land on one of the ways they can help out the planet. The winning section will show up on the top circle of the craft, which has a cut-out for the bottom “answer” circle.
More Earth Day crafts for kids:
This craft is truly unique, because it’s definitely customization-friendly.
Kids can simply write down ways to help the planet, or add drawings. This craft is ideal for older kids because it is a bit more complex, but younger kids can certainly complete it with some help.
Kids might have a hard time thinking of ways to help out the planet, and that’s okay!
You can use find ideas online and give your classroom or kids at home plenty of ideas.
You could even engage them in a pre-craft brainstorm session, which will get their brains turning for ways to help out the Earth!
This is a fun, engaging craft that kids will have a blast making-and taking home to show it off to their family!
