Whales are fascinating animals for so many reasons. You can find a lot of fun and interesting facts about them online or in books. and if you want to pair these facts with an activity for kids, to make learning more engaging, try this paper whale craft.
When we created the paper plane ocean craft, I didn’t expect it to be so popular. It was our first ocean craft and while we don’t spend much time crafting during summer time (my kids prefer to go to the beach instead), I decided to add more ocean animal crafts to our summer craft collection.
Since the beginning of this summer, we made a seahorse and a turtle craft and plan on adding more.
Whales are really easy to craft. They have a nice big shape, which make the whale crafts great for kids as young as preschoolers.
Our template comes with just a few patterns that can be either printed directly on colored paper or traced on colored paper. Once the patterns are cut out, kids can start gluing them together to create the blue whale.
