What better way to celebrate the fall season than with a scarecrow paper craft for kids? It’s an adorable DIY fall craft idea for making at home with your little ones. Or to create and display in the classroom.

It comes with a scarecrow template printable and this is super convenient if you are a teacher and plan to use the craft with your students. You just have to print the template on colored paper. The students will cut out the patterns and glue them together.

Paper is the main craft supply you will need to make the scarecrow. And if you want to keep it cheap, instead of using googly eyes, kids can color the scarecrows’ eyes with a black marker.

Because this paper scarecrow craft is so easy, you can use it with kids as young as preschoolers and kindergartners. They will practice their scissors cutting skills.

Pair the paper scarecrow with a fun fall book, that have a scarecrow as the main character.

If you’re looking for kids paper crafts to make at home, you can use the home scarecrow template. In this case you can trace the patterns on colored paper, cut them out and glue them together. You will get a cute construction paper scarecrow in just a few steps that are simple to follow.

This can easily be a scarecrow toddler craft if you do the cutting yourself and let your toddler do the gluing.

The craft comes with an unique scarecrow hat template. The brim and crown are two separated patterns. Once glued together they will make a beautiful hat that will go on top of the scarecrow’s head.

Feel free to replace the body and hat band’s colors with any other color of your choice. The blue body and green hat band are just suggestions.
