This shape Uncle Sam craft combines a simple 4th of July activity for kids with shape reviewing. Having fun while being creative and doing some math at the same time – it’s a win-win if you ask me.
We have created an Uncle Sam craft last year as part of our 4th of July craft collection. Because we love shape crafts, we couldn’t resist coming up with a shape version of it.
Our goal is to create shape crafts for all seasons and holidays and we’re almost there. We have crafted with all sorts of shapes to create Santa, bats or a school bus.
With this shape Uncle Sam craft, kids will learn or review the following shapes: circle, square, rectangle, star and rhombus.

How to make a shape Uncle Sam craft
The shape Uncle Sam template comes with two versions:
1. home template – cut out the patterns and trace them on corresponding colored paper.
2. classroom template – print the pattern directly on colored paper and cut them out.
This way you can easily craft with just one or two kids as well as with a classroom full of students.
