Earth Day is the perfect time to introduce children to crafts related to protecting the Earth. This We Recycle spinner craft is perfect for younger or older students, and can easily be worked into a broader lesson plan about Earth Day.
This easy and fun craft combines coloring, writing, and playtime, making it a perfect activity for students of all ages. It can help children improve their dexterity while also encouraging critical thinking and creativity.
To get started, students will color in the cover of the spinner, featuring a boy and girl holding recyclable boxes. Once the top spinner cover is finished, they will then write five items that can be recycled on the spinner circle sections. They can even add drawings to make it even more fun and personalized!
The best part: once they’ve completed the craft, they can take it home and show it off to their parents, or use it as a fun game to play with their friends. It’s a great way to reinforce the importance of recycling and encourage your students to make small changes that can make a big difference.
This spinner makes for a great classroom activity or an at-home craft. It’s a fantastic way to inspire your students to think more sustainably and take action to help protect the environment.
Whether you’re teaching in a classroom or at home, kids will love this fun and interactive craft, and you’ll love seeing them develop a deeper appreciation for our planet in the process.
