It all starts with our children holding a crayon in their hands for the first time and making a few scribbles on a sheet of paper. First drawing! Worth preserving, displaying and sharing with family and friends! Then, before we know it we enter another world, where drawings are created by the armful at home and school, and nothing can be discarded (according to the artist’s strong opinion). So God forbidden we throw anything into the recycling bin… It will be discovered, rescued and placed back into the big stack of amazing paintings and drawings.

We do take pride in our kids’ creativity and love to preserve their artwork but there also comes a time when a clean up becomes necessary. Before you start tossing your little Picasso’s paintings (only to make room for more paintings!) here are some ideas on how to turn your kids art into gifts. There is something for every member of the family: mom, dad, the artist himself! If you have no idea what to get grandma for her birthday or Christmas look through your kids’ artwork, choose an original piece and turn it into an unique gift.
