This cactus Valentine wreath is a nice and easy paper plate Valentine’s Day craft for kids.
You can use it to decorate the fireplace or a door.
Great for preschoolers or older kids to make in the classroom or at home.
We love paper plate crafts and here are 45 paper plate Valentine crafts. They are simple and fun to create. What’s there not to love?
We like to combine them with yarn crafts, too.
But this cactus Valentine wreath uses just a paper plate and colored paper.
Plus it comes with a free template.
I like to decorate our house for each holiday and use my kids’ crafts whenever possible.
We have two cactus Valentine wreaths, one made by my preschooler and the other one by my kindergartner, and they are both hanging by the fireplace.
One on each side of the fireplace. I wrote the year on the back of the paper plates and will use them in the future too.
We also like making DIY Valentine cards for the teachers, from heart bee and ladybug cards to bear heart cards.

Set the paper plate aside to dry completely.
TIP: Use a lighter shade of green than the construction paper so that your cactus will stand out in the middle of the wreath.
