Making handmade cards is a great way for kids to show their dads and grandpas how much they love them. This Father’s Day bow tie card is a classic and it’s so much easy to make when using our printable template.
The template comes with four different bow tie options. They are all super cute and colorful.
You can also print the black and white bow ties and have kids color them using colored pencils or markers. This way the cards will be more personal and kids can use any colors they want.

Toddlers will need help assembling the cards, but they can color the bow ties on their own.

Father’s Day bow tie heart card

Supplies:
- Bow tie heart card template
- Cardstock paper: white and several other colors of your choice
- Scissors
- Glue
- Black marker
- Colored pencils or markers (optional)
Step by step instructions
Print the heart card on white cardstock paper and the jacket pattern on any color of your choice.
You can print and use the colored bow ties or have kids color them with markers or colored pencils.
Fold the heart in half along the dashed line.
Glue the jacket on top of the folded heart.
Glue the bow tie in the middle of the heart, right above the jacket opening.
