It would make a great classroom Mother’s Day craft for toddlers, preschoolers and kindergartens. Kids can personalized their cards to make them look more like mom and decorate with flowers or ribbons.

Supplies:
- white cardstock paper
- pencil
- scissors
- paint
- paintbrush
- googly eyes
- pink construction paper
- circle punch
- glue
- red marker
- flowers
Step 1: Take the white cardstock paper and fold it in half. Trace the child’s right hand on the paper and make sure that the pinkie goes along the fold line. Cut out the handprint card.
Step 2: Paint the fingers to match mom’s hair color.
Step 3: Glue on the googly eyes and use a red marker to draw a heart-shaped mouth. Make two little circles from pink paper and glue them on, one on each side of the mouth.
Step 4: Once the paint has dried out completely, kids can decorate the hair with a few little flowers or a bow.
Step 5: Write a short message for mom.
