Earth Day is coming up in just a couple of days. We’ve been focusing this entire week on sharing new craft ideas that you can make with your kids.
Our Earth Day crafts are easy and fun. From creating our planet on paper plates (paper plate Earth craft) to learning about reducing, reusing and recycling, with happy Earth sad Earth activity or ways to take care of Earth coloring page.
The collection also includes a popular Earth Day art project that is perfect to try at home or in the classroom, if you are a teacher.
Our Earth craft is about holding the planet in our hands and showing it how much we care about it. The template I created comes with boy and girl option and with big patterns that area easy to cut by little hands. Preschoolers will be able to easily make this craft and older kids will enjoy it too.
Our Earth craft
- Our Earth template
- Cardstock paper: blue, green, red, white and two more colors of your choice (one for the face and hands, the other for the hair)
How to make our Earth craft
The Earth template comes with two versions:
1. home template – cut out the patterns and trace them on corresponding colored paper.
2. classroom template – print the pattern directly on colored paper and cut them out.
This way you can easily craft with just one or two kids as well as with a classroom full of students.
