Let’s make some paper cup bats today. They are not easy to make but they also look adorable with their glowing noses.
We started our collection of paper cup Halloween crafts last year and we have two more characters to add to it. Next week we’ll finish with a paper cup black cat craft.
Here is the rest of our paper cup Halloween collection:
They are all made from paper cups and have glowing noses from flameless tea light candles. These decorations look awesome during the day as well as at night. Place them by the fireplace or by the window. They are great to decorate on Halloween night.
If you are a room parent and are looking for classroom Halloween party craft ideas, pick any of the characters in our Halloween collection and it will be a hit, with the students and well as the teachers.
Paper cup bats variations
- Start with a black paper cup. This way you can skip the painting part.
- Use googly eyes instead of the paper eyes in our template. Even better, choose glow in the dark googly eyes.
- Use a white Sharpie cu draw a mouth and the fangs.
Our Halloween craft collection has a lot of Frankenstein, vampires, witches, pumpkins, ghosts and black cats. But this is our first bat craft for kids.
I made a bat template for your convenience and you can find it at the end of the article.
