Giant coloring maps for kids

I love fun and educational kids activities. These giant coloring maps, for instance, will encourage the little ones’ creativity and nourish their drawing skills. they will also teach them about different cities of the world. In no time, kids will know where to find the Eiffel Tower, Buckingham Palace or the Empire State Building.
I have recently started introducing my preschooler to France and tried to find various ways of exposing him to anything French. I noticed the pride in his eyes when, after seeing the Notre Dame Cathedral in the book A walk in Paris, he was able to identify it in the animated movie for kids : The Hunchback of Notre Dame and this is something I want to nurture. Reading books that take place in France, playing with wooden landmarks and cardboard monuments, watching movies and listening to French music are great tools and a giant coloring map of Paris would be a nice addition to the list.
The giant coloring maps are produced by a French company called OMY Design&Play . They create maps of Paris, London, Barcelona and New York (pocket size or giant), coloring placemats focusing on the same cities and coloring T-shirts – see them all here.
The maps would be a fun activity for a family night or a sleepover and would certainly be the highlight of a artsy birthday party. If you add a Crayola’s Ultimate Crayon Case you’ll get an amazing birthday or Christmas gift for kids.
