20 Non-Candy Stocking Stuffers for Boys and Girls
What a joy to see your kids' excitement when opening their stockings and discovering the really cool thinks tucked inside! I'm not opposed to adding candy in the stockings but I think that children are exposed to so much sugar during the holiday season that we can just leave it out. If you are like me and love unique stocking stuffers that kids will actually enjoy and play with for a long time, you'll want to save this list of 20 non-candy stocking stuffer ideas.

I actually created two lists, one for boys and another for girls. Although many of the items are the same on both lists, some may differ in color (blue walkie talkie for boys and pink walkie talkie for girls), character (finger printing art set: dinosaurs for boys and fairies for girls) or type ( craft item: monster tape for boys and rolling pin for girls).

Such great ideas! We never put candy in our kids' stockings, so I'm always on the look out for great little gifts. These could also be used for Easter baskets too!
Opening stockings is one of our favorite traditions because Santa always leaves us some STEM type items too! Love the bells and fingerprint art kit!
This is great! Kids get too much candy between holiday parties, school events, activities. It's nice to have some non-candy treat ideas!
Love all these ideas. We always try to put in small toys, and not put any kind of food. This is a helpful list.
I always struggle with what to put in the stockings. Love this list, and those watches would be a big hit!!!
We love Wikki Stix! They are always so much fun. I never thought of getting a watch for a stocking stuffer gift, but it would be perfect for both my kids who are learning to tell time.
These are such great ideas. My kids would love all of these things. We really try to limit candy in their stockings because I feel like they get so many sweets that time of year already.
Great List! I am loving the Eco Dough idea I'm totally using that this year 😉
Those hand bells are our favorite at Christmas time. We have a few sets, and we use them with the extended family to play Christmas carols. All ages get in on the fun. WE love them!
Love these ideas! We've put crayon rocks in the stockings for a few years. They are great for helping kids develop correct grasp. Wikki Stix are great too. So many things to do with them.
What a fab list. I haven't even started thinking about the c word yet!
I had no idea candy in stockings was even "a thing". Great list, my daughter adores wikki stix and thinks they are the best invention ever since she can be creative and make whatever she wants out of them! We like to do a lot of consumables in terms of little things that get used up quickly like stickers and play doh because we also don't typically get them for our kids much throughout the year!
That mini solar house kit looks awesome! I wouldn't mind playing with it myself, lol!
Awesome stocking stuffer ideas! We don't do candy, so I'm always looking for little things to put in my son's stocking...this is very helpful!
What a great list of stocking stuffer ideas! My children love the construction utensils. Thanks for sharing at the #Made4Kids Link Party!

Wow -- great ideas! I love the walkie talkie idea -- my kids would LOVE those!
We just got the walkie talkie for my son's birthday and my sons love them. They are small, light and easy to use. My husband connected them with our own walkie talkies so all three of them can communicate. It's so much fun! I totally recommend this brand.
