Mother’s Day Spinner Craft

Sharing is caring!

If you’re looking for a fun and easy way to make mom feel special and celebrate her on Mother’s Day or on her birthday, this Mother’s Day spinner is perfect for kids to make on their own. Mom will love receiving a homemade gift made by her kids.

It’s a great craft for kids as young as preschoolers to make and older kids will enjoy working on it too.

After starting my series of life cycle spinners crafts with this bee life cycle, this Easter I tried a coloring spinner (the Easter story spinner). It was so well received by my readers that I decided to make some more. So here I have for you today a spinner for Mother’s Day and I’ll soon start working on a version for Father’s Day, too.

The cover of the spinner has the words: Mom, you are… and on the spinner itself there are 4 words: the sweetest, purrfect, my hero and the best. Kids can color both the cover and the spinner and attach the two together with a paper fastener.

I updated the template to include a MUM version, too.

We have already made a couple of purrfect ideas (the purrfect handprint card and the purrfect craft) and I found them so sweet that I wanted to include them into the spinner. I also considered “mom you are my sunshine” (like our sunshine mom card) but because the cover already had a sun, I replaced it with “mom you are my hero”.
