As much as we love paper plate crafts and we have added quite a few paper plate crafts to our Earth Day collection, we’re slowing switching to paper rolls and paper cups for the moment. We have made paper cup bee windsocks not long ago and now we’re using another paper cup for a new windsocks craft idea.

Easy Earth windsocks craft

Our Earth windsocks are to be found in our backyard, hung in an evergreen tree. It looks so nice and it brings a smile to my face whenever I look out the window or go outside.

We have a bunch a colored paper cups at hand, but if you don’t have a blue cup to start with, you can use a white one and paint it blue. Also if you ran out of paper cups, replace it with a paper roll. Paper rolls are great to use for windsocks. We used paper rolls to make these penguin windsocks or the Lorax windsocks.
